Safe Homes Drop-In Center
Are you a youth age 14-23? Do you need a place to find resources, get advice, talk to a friend or just relax? Safe Homes provides support for LGBTQ youth and their straight allies. The meetings run every Thursday from 6:30 - 9:00pm at The Bridge, 4 Mann Street, Worcester. The schedule and topics are below.

Greater Worcester PFLAG
Greater Worcester PFLAG is one of over 400 chapters of PFLAG. PFLAG is an international organization representing over 70,000 households in 11 countries. Greater Worcester PFLAG provides a safe, confidential and supportive environment for all GLBTQ people and Parents, families and friends offering support, educations and advocacy. The meetings run every Third Wednesday of the month from 7:00 - 9:00pm at The Bridge, 4 Mann Street, Worcester.

Other GLBTQ Community Events
AIDS Project Worcester hosts Gay Men of Color Support Group every last Saturday of the Month and Transgender support Group on Sunday's. Both group's run from 6:00 - 8:00pm. The learn more about these events and others please visit the AIDS Project Worcester website.
Transgender Vet to Vet Group: Veterans Supporting Veterans - starting Thursday, December 1st and meets every other Thursday. Transgender is a hard word to define. Any Veteran who for whatever reason has felt that expressing their gender has been a conflicting issue is welcome. The group meets from noon to 1pm at the Veterans Hospial, JP Campus, VA Room 4C-12. The 8th Annual Youth Worker Training Institute (YWTI) sponsored by The HOPE Coalition. This is a 13 week comprehensive and meaningful opportunity for skill building, youth development models, roles and responsibilities of the youth worker, common understanding of the youth development approach and resource identification. Each of the sessions will also feature planned networking and resource sharing among the group. This year's participants will have an opportunity to register for college credit through Clark University. The training sessions will be held every Monday from 9am to 12pm starting January 23rd to April 30th 2012. click here for details.
Day Of Silence - April 20, 2012 - On the National Day of Silence hundreds of thousands of students nationwide take a vow of silence to bring attention to anti-LGBT name calling, bullying and harassment in their schools.
