Tuesday, September 6: Sips & Sights  
5:00 – 8:00 PM @ ArtsWorcester (Main Floor) (44 Portland Street, Worcester) 

View artwork created by the talented youth at Safe Homes! Transportation is provided from the Safe Homes office (4 Mann Street, Worcester). Waivers are REQUIRED for all youth riding with Safe Homes (youth under 18 must have parent/guardian sign and youth 18+ may sign themselves). Please complete the waiver prior to arrival. Copies will be available at check in. 

Please arrive at 4 Mann Street between 5:15-5:45 PM. Dinner is provided from 5:30-6:30 PM, then we will go to the event from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM. We will return to 4 Mann Street by 7:45 PM and all youth must leave the building by 8:00 PM.  

 

Tuesday, September 6: Rock the Block  
3:30 – 5:00 PM @ Fitchburg State University (Quad/Highland Ave) (160 Pearl Street, Worcester)

Thursday, September 8: Beyond Acceptance Queer Youth Prom (Ages 11-17)  
4:00 – 8:00 PM @ The White Room (138 Green Street, Worcester) 

 

⭐ Thursday, September 8: Safe Homes Dance of the Decades (Ages 18-23) ⭐ 
6:00 – 8:00 PM @ Open Sky Community Services (4 Mann Street, Worcester) 

Come get your boogie on! There’s something for everyone at the Dance of the Decades. Hang out, eat (free) food, play games, and enjoy a drag show from the one and only Victoria Obvious. Send us your song requests by DMing us on Instagram @safehomesma

 

Saturday, September 10: Pride Worcester Festival  
2:00 – 7:00 PM @ Downtown Worcester (Franklin Street, Worcester) 

Indoor Youth Zone open at JMAC (20 Franklin Street) from 12:00 – 3PM. Please note that the Youth Zone is open during the Pride Festival set-up time! Find our table outside and we will guide you to a safe space for youth to chill, do arts and crafts, and take a breather before the Pride Festival starts. 

 

Saturday, September 10: Youth Pride Movie Night (Ages 11-23) 
8:00 – 10:00 PM @ AIDS Project Worcester (165 Southbridge Street, Worcester) 

Join us for a viewing of The Half of It (PG-13), an LGBTQIA+ coming-of-age comedy-drama. When smart but cash-strapped teen Ellie Chu agrees to write a love letter for a jock, she doesn’t expect to become his friend – or fall for his crush. Open to youth ages 11-23.
